Dan Ariely is the James B. Duke professor of psychology and behavioral economics at Duke University, and a founding member of the Center for Advanced Hindsight.
Ariely is the author of Predictably Irrational, a New York Times best-seller, The Hidden Forces that Shape Our Decisions, and The Upside of Irrationality: The Unexpected benefits of Defying Logic and Work and at Home (forthcoming).
Ariely earned a B.A. in psychology from Tel Aviv University, an M.A. and Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from the University of North Carolina, and a Ph.D. in business administration from Duke University.
